Robin Hood Mobility LABs: Year 2 Learning and Evaluation Report

Equal Measure’s report documents signals of momentum in the second year of implementing community-driven solutions across nine community partnerships to sustainably lift families out of poverty.

The report documents the changes resulting from strategies implemented across nine community partnerships during Year 2 of the Robin Hood Mobility Learning and Action Bets (LABs). The partnerships reported meaningful change across three mobility constructs—economic success, power and autonomy, and sense of belonging—as well as emerging changes in narratives and local policy—all evidence-based outcomes related to long-term economic mobility. These developments signaled increased momentum for family economic mobility in the Mobility LAB communities.

Launched in 2019, Mobility Learning and Action Bets (“Mobility LABs”) is a national investment led by the Robin Hood Foundation and supported by multiple funding partners. Equal Measure is the initiative’s evaluation and learning partner, following initiative-supported local partnerships in nine communities across the country as they develop community-driven solutions to sustainably lift families out of poverty.
