Roseleni Ortiz Ramos

Roseleni has a background in health research, data analysis and visualization, and database management. She also brings experience in youth development and educational programs evaluation to Equal Measure.

At Equal Measure, Roseleni provides mixed-methods data collection and analysis for multiple regional and national projects, such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s National Scale Enterprise, a portfolio that seeks to understand the transformational strategies of postsecondary institutions to eliminate race, ethnicity, and socioeconomics as predictors of student success. She also serves as a core team member for The BUILD Health Challenge, which addresses health disparities in communities across the U.S., and Helios Education Foundation’s early literacy investments in Florida’s Hillsborough and Pinellas County Schools. Roseleni also managed data collection and team collaboration for a project with the Boston Foundation, which deepened and elevated its new strategic vision focused on equity and intersectionality.

Before joining Equal Measure, Roseleni served as data and outcomes analyst for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast. She began her evaluation career at the Puerto Rico Department of Health’s Office of Minority Health. As program evaluator, Roseleni implemented process and outcomes evaluations, developed data tools and reporting, and consulted with other agency departments on their evaluation projects. She also taught an undergraduate biostatistics course at Caribbean University for aspiring health professionals.
